About our Volunteer Program:
The Food Bank for Larimer County's volunteers helped us collect, sort, repack and distribute over 7.5 million pounds of food last year. This feat would not have happened without their help in our warehouse, Food Share, Kids Cafe, Food Link, office, food drives and fundraisers. Their service of 24,200 hours equals an in-kind value of $490,050. The Food Bank has many volunteer opportunities available year-round for children 10 and over, teenagers, adults and families. It's a wonderful way to meet new people and to give back to your community. We also welcome groups to the Food Bank. Group slots are limited, so please call for availability. By volunteering together as a business or organization you can have an enjoyable and rewarding team-building experience. We also accept service-learning students and court-referred volunteers. We have regular on-going volunteer opportunities Monday through Friday in our warehouse and Kids Cafe program and Tuesday through Saturday in our Food Share program. There are also special evening and weekend volunteer opportunities available. Please see below for details.
