Great Plates of Downtown 2008

Great Plates of Downtown 2008 provided the public with opportunities to support the Food Bank for Larimer Country including food drives in Old Town Square and by encouraging attendees to "leave their change" after enjoying the great dinner specials downtown. During Great Plates of Downtown 2008, 30 downtown restaurants offered dinner specials at an "established" price of only $18.68. Attendees were able to enjoy downtown during this new culinary celebration as the community honored the year Fort Collins was established, 1868.

Thank you to all who participated in Great Plates and donated to the Food Bank, and a special congratulations to THE MELTING POT for raising $2,698 during the two-week event. They collected the largest amount of donations for the Food Bank during Great Plates. The management and staff of the Melting Pot will be recognized by the DBA and Food Bank for their outstanding efforts.

Tickets are $35 and include a VIP reception sponsored by Whole Foods Market (beverages will also be available). Guests then get a special preview performance of the Man of La Mancha Play. 100% of the proceeds benefit the Food Bank for Larimer County.
