Flood Recovery Information

The Food Bank for Larimer County will play a major role in the long term recovery process.

As efforts transition from search, rescue and damage assessment to recovery, we will provide a sustainable source of food for displaced community members and those impacted economically by the floods.

We know that:

  • Thousands of homes have been destroyed or damaged, displacing residents for indefinite time periods;
  • Hundreds of businesses and farms have been damaged or destroyed resulting loss of countless jobs and income.

We are committed to helping our community through the recovery process. We already have a comprehensive network of 80 agencies as well as two food pantries that will distribute food to those in need. We will also work with our sister food banks in Coloardo as well as Feeding America to source food to meet demand.
