Empty Bowls Loveland

Empty Bowls Loveland will be filling the community with hope through delicious soup and creative community art on Thursday, November 3 at 5:30 p.m. Working to increase awareness of hunger in Larimer County, the event is a major fundraiser for the Food Bank for Larimer County.

Hosted at the Embassy Suites in Loveland, the event offers guests the opportunity to select a pottery bowl made by students in the Thompson School District or by a local artist and enjoy signature soups provided by area restaurants. Several local restaurants are featured while over ten schools participate in the creation of the bowls.

Participating restaurants in 2010 at Empty Bowls Loveland included Fireside Cafe, Fourth Street Chop House, Heartland Cafe, Henry’s Pub, McGraff’s, Medical Center of the Rockies, Cafe 2500, Mountain Lion Cafe, Embassy Suites, Pour House, and The Inglenook.

In addition to tasting delicious hand-crafted soups and choosing a one-of-a-kind bowl, guests can choose to bid on silent auction items while enjoying live music from Thompson Valley School District.

For the price of one ticket to Empty Bowls Loveland, the Food Bank can provide enough food to feed 100 families in need in Larimer County.Tickets are $25 and can be reserved online. Sponsorships are also available for purchase online.
