15th Annual Empty Bowls Fort Collins - SOLD OUT!

For the past 15 years, Empty Bowls Fort Collins ladles community hope in mid-February for those struggling with hunger in Larimer County. Working to increase awareness of hunger, the event is a major fundraiser for the Food Bank for Larimer County. The event offers guests the opportunity to select a pottery bowl made by students in the Poudre School District or by a local artist and enjoy signature soups provided by area restaurants. In addition to bowls made by students in Poudre School District, many bowls are also created by the artists of the City of Fort Collins’ Pottery Studio and the Northern Colorado Pottery Guild. These bowls are included as guest bowl selections and as silent auction items for bid.

Empty Bowls has grown from offering five signature soups in 1998 to over twenty soups in 2011. In addition to tasting delicious hand-crafted soups and choosing a one-of-a-kind bowl, guests can choose to bid on silent auction items while enjoying live jazz music from a Poudre School District high school band. For the price of one ticket to Empty Bowls Fort Collins, the Food Bank can provide enough food to feed 200 families in need in Larimer County.
