Food Distribution

Through collaborative effort, food manufacturers, distributors, retailers, local farmers, and individuals throughout Larimer County donate food to Food Bank for Larimer County, which is then distributed through our Fort Collins Food Share, Loveland Food Share, seven Kids Cafe sites, and through our network of approximately 70 faith-based and non-profit member agencies serving those in need.

In 2009, FBLC distributed 7.5 million pounds of food to those in need in Larimer County. This amount of food is equivalent to filling the Budweiser Event Center two times over. When necessary, our food distribution is supplemented by food purchases to ensure nutritional balance to those we serve.
