Stamp Out Hunger - National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive
Stamp Out Hunger! is the nation’s largest single-day food drive. In 2012, drive organizers exceeded last year’s record-setting total of 73.4 million pounds of donated food, as well as surpassed one billion pounds of food collected over the history of the drive. In Larimer County, nearly 80,000 pounds of food was collected in this one-day drive
Rotary Baby Food Drive
Over the last seven years, the Fort Collins Breakfast Rotary has hosted a one day Baby Food Drive to benefit the Food Bank. To date, the Rotary has collected more than 26,000 pounds of baby food.
Cans Around the Oval at Colorado State University
Cans Around the Oval is the largest community food drive benefiting the Food Bank for Larimer County. More than 150 different CSU campus and community organizations participate in this event each October to bring in much needed food for hunger relief programs at the Food Bank. This event is sponsored and organized by the Student Leadership, Involvement, and Community Engagement (SLiCE) office at CSU. This year's event raised $41,569 and brought in 52,188 pounds of food!
Each June and November, 9Cares...Colorado Shares collects food and funds for the Food Bank for Larimer County.
Scouting for Food Drive – Longs Peak Boys Scouts of America
Longs Peak Council Boys Scout troops hit the pavement in November to collect non-perishable food annual Boy Scouts of America’s “Scouting for Food” drive. More than 1,000 boys from 50 Longs Peak Council Boy Scout Troops and Cub Scout Packs participate in this popular food drive.
PSD Turkey Round Up
Each year, turkey wranglers from the Poudre School District collect nearly 1,500 turkeys for the Food Bank. The hard work and generosity of the PSD community helps the Food Bank provide turkeys for traditional holiday meals served by our partner agencies.
