Give Food
Food donations are a critical source of food for Food Bank for Larimer County. Contributions from businesses, schools, community organizations and individuals generate thousands of meals for families, children and seniors each year. Food donations are accepted Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm at the Food Bank warehouse in Fort Collins.
Plant It Forward
In partnership with the Gardens on Spring Creek, the Food Bank for Larimer County is launching "Plant It Forward" in an effort to increase our local produce donations from backyard gardeners and local farms. All community members are invited and challenged to plant an extra row in their backyard garden, and as the produce becomes available to drop it off at either the Food Bank for Larimer County (Monday-Friday, 8 am-4 pm) or at the Gardens on Spring Creek, 2145 Centre Avenue, (Saturday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Sunday Noon-5 p.m.). No donation is too small! In 2011, over 20,000 pounds of fresh local produce was donated by local gardeners. For more information, please contact Karen McManus, Food Resource Manager, 970-530-3105.
Other most needed food items include:
